HOME  GROUPS

These  operate  during  the  weeks  of  the  school  term  and  provide  a  small  group  interaction  around  the  study  of  God’s  word  in  homes.  They  are  important  groups  for  the  growth  and  sustaining  of  believers  through  mutual  encouragement  and  care.  They  have  great  potential  for  supporting  the  spread  of  the  Gospel  through  prayer,  inclusion  of  interested  unbelievers  and  encouragement  of  group  members  in  local  mission. Our  aim  is  to  see  all  regulars  of Bowral  Baptist  participating  in  such  a  group. 

CARE AND COMPASSION

As you know, Jesus has given us a commission to love one another, both in action and word, and the purpose of the Care and Compassion Team is to give both practical help (such as meals to new mums) as well as to encourage those who need it (maybe a card or flowers when in hospital).
We Desire to work the way God intended as a family with people helping each other as we have gifts and ability. Some of the areas covered in the past are - cooking a meal, baking a batch of biscuits, mowing lawns, collecting mail, practical home help and food parcels.
